Hiring a Private Driver in Switzerland by the Hour

Hourly chauffeur hire and a fixed A-to-B transfer are different services. For hourly hire, review the rate, minimum duration and booked period shown in the current booking before payment. For a fixed package, the base fare is the original one-way service, not an all-day chauffeur booking. Do not infer personal protection or unlimited availability from the hourly label.

Choose the right transport service

SwiftLuxTransfer.com provides the agreed private transport. The fixed package base price covers the original one-way A-to-B service, including only its explicitly stated approved inclusions. It is not a fixed price for both directions or 12 hours of chauffeur availability. Previously included benefits, including water where stated, remain included.

Optional stops, activities and return

Additional stops, additional waiting, detours, collection after an activity and return transportation are separate paid services. The maximum duration of the original fixed-price package is 12 hours; separately purchased additions and return time are outside this limit. Customers check third-party operation and book activities, tickets, meals and accommodation themselves. We do not check timetables or reserve activities.

A return is optional and requires an explicit pickup place and time, subject to confirmation and availability. A 50% discount applies to the return fare when requested no later than 15 hours after the original outbound pickup, including exactly 15 hours and requests made in advance. The deadline concerns the request, not return departure or completion. Crossing midnight does not change eligibility. Waiting and other extras are charged separately and are not discounted; the agreed service must be paid before the return begins.

Passengers and booking

Each request is limited to six passengers in total. Six are allowed only in the Mercedes V-Class; smaller vehicles retain their lower limits. Requests over six are declined without a multi-vehicle or manual-approval workaround. Declare luggage and equipment before booking. Driver overnight stays are not offered.
