The route
Zurich Airport → A3 → A4 → A14 → Lucerne. Under an hour in normal traffic; on summer weekends an earlier departure helps avoid congestion near Lucerne.

Prices, waiting and return

At Zurich Airport the first 60 minutes after actual landing are free; paid waiting is CHF 1.00/min for the first 180 paid minutes and CHF 0.50/min beyond. If you request the return no later than 15 hours after the original outbound pickup, the return fare is 50% off.
Route description
The shortest of our mountain-gateway routes: A1/A4 through the Knonaueramt and the A14 into Lucerne. Most of the drive is motorway, so arrival times are very predictable outside rush hour.

Can we visit Mount Rigi on the way?
Yes, as an added stop at extra cost. You buy the cogwheel-railway tickets yourself and choose a pickup time that fits the timetable.
Do you carry large luggage?
The V-Class takes up to six large and six small suitcases. Tell us your luggage when booking so we can recommend the right vehicle.
